Frequently Asked Questions:

Why should my child go on this trip? So they can see some of the historical sites they will learn about this year, and also see the historical items (Paul Revere's House, Boston Massacre Site, 9/11 Memorial, Plymouth, etc.) they will discuss this year.

Would you send your kid on this trip? Yes! I am a firm believer that kids learn best when they can see, touch, and experience things versus just discussing and sitting in a classroom. I already take my  son to National Parks and historical museums so he can gain a love and appreciation for history and traveling. Believe it or not, he still remembers seeing Hot Springs National Park from when he was 2 1/2 years old. I am even paying for him to go on this trip.

Do you think this is a good value? Yes! If you add up the cost of hotel, renting a car/metrorailing, tour guide, airfare, security, etc. You would be spending so much more. Most tour guides charge $100 an hour for private tours, and all the tour guides are licensed by the city after a rigorous test and do not charge the travel company as much. Just the convenience alone of not have to rent a car and park  to get to point A to point B is totally worth it. My husband has paid to go on the Washington D.C. and Boston trip, and is now spoiled by the convenience of using a tour group to get everywhere and see everything.
